Baker Mayfield’s statline from Monday night — 8-for-22, 100 yards, two interceptions, one lost fumble — was awful.
It was so bad, in fact, that Mayfield ended up in the red in fantasy football. In standard scoring those 100 yards would be four points. But add in two interceptions (minus-2 for each one) and a fumble lost (another minus-2) and you get a negative score of minus-2 overall.
That meant anyone who had him in his or her lineup LOST points. And if Mayfield owners were in really tight games going into Monday night, that means some of them lost in agonizing fashion.
