Baker Mayfield is only two years into his NFL career, but the Cleveland Browns quarterback has already cracked the top 10 in earnings from licensing deals with the NFLPA. Mayfield makes his debut on the 2019 list with just under $1.14 million in those deals.
In the list from the NFLPA labor management report, as relayed by Daniel Kaplan of The Athletic, Mayfield sits ninth in licensed earnings.
Those earnings are strictly from the NFLPA and its licensing arm and cover things like jerseys, video games, trading cards and merchandise. It does not include Mayfield’s endorsements with Progressive, Body Armour, Hulu and others that are outside the NFLPA’s umbrella.
Peyton Manning, who has not played in four years, tops the list. Tom Brady, Dak Prescott, Saquon Barkley and Juju Smith-Schuster round out the top five.
