The Cleveland Browns needed someone to step up and lift the team for a big road win in Baltimore. Both Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb delivered.
For their awesome efforts in the 40-25 romp over the Ravens, Mayfield and Chubb have been nominated to receive separate awards from the NFL and FedEx. Mayfield is up for the FedEx Air Player of the Week award and Chubb is a finalist for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week.
Browns fans can help boost thier chances in the fan voting for the honors. From the press release,
Each Tuesday morning of the regular season, through Thursday at 3 p.m. ET, fans can visit http://NFL.com/FedEx or the NFL Twitter page to vote for their favorite performances of the week, with FedEx awarding a $2,000 donation in the winning players’ names to The USO.
Mayfield is up against Jameis Winston and Philip Rivers. Chubb is battling Leonard Fournette and Frank Gore.
