Baker Mayfield mural to grace downtown Cleveland

Baker Mayfield is about to have an even more prominent presence in Cleveland, thanks to the fine art community. Per ESPN’s Jeff Trotter, Mayfield will be featured in a mural by artist Jason Tetlak.

The mural will be in downtown Cleveland next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The move will further cement Mayfield being synonymous with Cleveland and will help his growing impact on the Cleveland culture.

Many fans are already calling for a Mayfield banner to replace the old LeBron James banner that used to grace downtown. This mural appears to be a step in that direction. One thing we can be sure of, if Mayfield ever brings a Super Bowl to Cleveland, that banner may as well be a mural to last for all time.

Tetlak previously created the world’s largest 3D mural, honoring the Beastie Boys.

Either way, welcome to the cultural zeitgeist, Baker.
