Baker Mayfield isn’t just lighting it up on the football field

The Cleveland Browns are in the rare position of approaching the upcoming NFL Draft without having to worry about finding their franchise quarterback.

The Browns hit a home run last year when they bucked tradition and conventional wisdom and chose quarterback Baker Mayfield, who some experts had pegged as the fourth best prospect in the 2018 draft.

All Mayfield did was throw for a rookie record 27 touchdown passes and guide the team to a 7-8-1 mark. The Browns are now a sexy pick to win the AFC North next season, and Mayfield is a big reason (if not the reason) why.

But the outspoken rookie isn’t just lighting it up on the football field, apparently. Now that it’s the offseason, he’s found time to do damage in another sport, according to his Instagram.

Take a look.

I guess he’s taken time off from his feud with Arian Foster to blow off some steam.

With offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchen getting promoted to the head coaching position, expectations will be high next season as many expect Mayfield and Kitchen to continue their offensive success together.

Hard to believe we are actually talking about having expectations for the Browns given that they are just two years removed from an 0-16 season. Just another reason to love football.
