A frustrated Baker Mayfield stepped to the table for his postgame press conference not looking happy. But what Mayfield had to say was overshadowed by what he was wearing.
Mayfield’s left arm was in a sling. The sling was visible below Mayfield’s overcoat. While no official diagnosis is immediately available, Mayfield noted that he believes he dislocated the left shoulder again. He landed awkwardly on a play where he fumbled and the arm was fully extended.
It’s the same shoulder that Mayfield dislocated in the Week 2 win over the Houston Texans. The Browns QB had been wearing a shoulder harness to help keep the joint stable but it did not prevent the aggravation.

Mayfield did say he “absolutely” expects to play on Thursday night when the Browns host the Denver Broncos.
