Baker Mayfield had his mom in tears with this Mother’s Day note he read on ESPN

Baker Mayfield is known for his brash, not-giving-any-hecks personality that he shows while competing on the football field and also while taking on critics on Twitter.

But the Cleveland Browns quarterback also has a soft side and he showed that this week on ESPN when he read a Mothers’ Day letter that he wrote for his mom, who teared up while watching it.

ESPN is having a bunch of athletes do these letters this week and at the end of each note they surprise the athlete by showing them that their mom was watching it in the room next door.

Mayfield talked about a trip they took to Norman, Oklahoma in 2014 and how things went really wrong for them on that trip but they got through it.
