Baker Mayfield’s weekend wedding to Emily Dickinson (now Mayfield) was the place to be. Aside from seeing the happy couple tie the knot, there were some benefits to being friends.
Mayfield gave everyone in attendance some special dancing shoes. Custom Nikes with personalized names, to be exact.
A couple of pictures of the sweet kicks made it to social media, one labeled “best dancing shoes ever”.
It’s fairly customary for the groom and bride to treat members of the bridal party to special gifts. My groomsmen got customized beer steins. But splurging for custom Nike shoes for every guest in attendance is especially cool.
