Baker Mayfield explains his passionate walkout of press conference

Baker Mayfield ended his press conference Wednesday after taking umbrage with a question. The Browns quarterback quickly took to Twitter to stand up for himself and declare why he got so frustrated and agitated with the line of questioning.

Mayfield was asked about the final drive of the first half in Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots. The drive came up empty after a penalty ruined a promising start.

When Mayfield was asked, after being interrupted, if he was happy the drive failed, he snapped and left the podium.

The second-year quarterback defended his passion and actions in a social media thread, noting his own urgency to get the Browns back on the winning track.

Give Mayfield credit. He remains true to being Baker no matter the situation.
