The Great British Bake Off returned to screens last night and fans have already seen something they 'never' have before.
The first episode of the 12th series saw the return of judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith, and presenters Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding, back in the famous tent.
The Channel 4 show also welcomed 12 new bakers who got stuck straight into cake week with signature decorative mini rolls, a 'teatime classic' technical and gravity-defying showstoppers.

And the first star baker of the series was Jurgen, an IT Professional originally from the Black Forest in Germany.
As he celebrated the happy news, in true Bake Off style he attempted to give someone a ring to let them know how well he had done.
But Jurgen was left hanging as nobody answered his call and the programme came to an end.
And viewers were quick to express their sadness on social media.
"Aww poor Jurgen. Have never seen that happen before," tweeted one.

Another said: "Oh, Jurgen. The nation feels your pain."
"Oh man. Jurgen had no one at home to take his call. #GBBO," a third added.
A fourth commented: "One of the funniest but also most heartbreaking moments from tonight’s show poor Jürgen! #GBBO."
"HE JUST WANTED TO TELL THEM HE WAS THE STAR BAKER. JÜRGEN YOU ARE THE STAR OF MY HEART #GBBO," another said.
Viewers also already think he's winner material after just one episode.
One said: "Jurgen plays trombone with his family to passers by in Brighton, and lives with Humphrey the Rabbit. Save yourselves 10 weeks and give him the prize already #gbbo."
"Move over Klopp, there’s a new Jurgen in town….#GBBO," another tweeted.
A third wrote: "Protect Jürgen at all costs. #GBBO."
"If you're not already rooting for Jurgen to win then what's wrong with you? #GBBO," a fourth said.
Another tweeted: "My boy Jûrgen gonna win it this year ! #GBBO."
The Great British Bake Off continues at 8pm on Tuesdays on Channel 4.
