Bake Off: The Professionals finalists are serving bottomless afternoon teas from their Cardiff bakery

You may know them from Bake Off: The Professionals but now, ahead of the final on Tuesday, Gin & Bake have announced they are starting a bottomless prosecco afternoon tea.

Customers can book in at their Cardiff Bay Live Bakery every Thursday, Friday, or Saturday for 90 minutes of bottomless prosecco and sweet and savoury treats.

Michael Coggan, who runs the pastry team and recipe development at Gin & Bake, and Andrew Minto, who works with Michael as a pastry chef, have just made it to the final of Bakeoff: The Professionals, beating nine other baking teams on the way. You can read more about the bakers here.

This week in the semi-final the baking duo had to create petit fours and a teddy bear's picnic scene, using a lot of chocolate to progress to the final.

Various time slots are available throughout the designated days at 11am, 1pm or 3pm with the afternoon tea lasting 90 minutes.

Within that time customers are served unlimited prosecco and a classic afternoon tea made by the pastry chefs and bakers at the Mermaid Quay bakery.

You can book onto the bottomless prosecco afternoon tea here or message the bakery on Instagram, @ginandbake_ with your email address and date and time of requested booking.

Bakeoff: The Professionals, the final will air at 8pm Tuesday, July 27.
