Great British Bake Off star Amelia Le Bruin is at the centre of a storm as it's emerged a childish message was sent from her Twitter account telling followers to "kill yourself".
The fashion designer, 24, is believed to have been 18 when the post was published on her page in September 2014.
Other tweets posted on Amelia's page feature guns pointed at emoji heads.
One of them quoted Dolly Parton's classic 9-5: "Working 9-5, what a way to make a living," which was followed by an unimpressed emoji face with five guns pointed at it.
When the messages were sent the were likely to have featured the pistol emoji, which was axed by both Google and Apple in the last two years in the aftermath of a series of US shootings.
The images will have changed on old tweets.
Amelia is one of the 13 stars taking part in the Channel 4 cookery programme , which kicks off this evening.
She lives in London and works as a clothing designer but originally hails from Halifax.
As well as designing sportswear, she's also been responsible for creating her own underwear, swimwear and more.
Mirror Online has contacted a representative for Channel 4 for comment.
The contestants are all much younger than in previous years, and judge Paul Hollywood has admitted he's given them a pretty tough time.
Paul said: “There were times when there was a bit of a disaster on one of the technicals.
"I walked in and saw it and sort of had a go at them, which caused a little bit of emotion.
"Yes I made them cry. They’re more pack animals now. Upset one and they all get upset...
"I think I hardened up a little bit this year actually.
"When they’re younger, they need to start somewhere and sometimes they don’t listen.
"A couple of them didn’t listen and I went over and taught the point again and again and again and again, and they still didn’t get it."
The new series of Bake Off starts today at 8pm on Channel 4.
