Prue Leith has made her film debut, alongside The Rock and Ryan Reynolds.
The 81-year-old is shown on screen in new movie Red Notice, which also stars Gal Gadot and broke Netflix ’s record for most views ever on the day of release.
Gadot’s character is seen watching Bake Off on TV during one scene, and the famous Freddie Mercury cake in the 2020 series, which Prue is seen devouring.
Reynolds tweeted: “WOW #RedNotice is @Netflix biggest ever opening day for a film. Congrats to this whole team!
With a reported budget of £145million, the movie is thought to be Netflix’s most expensive ever.
Prue is not the only star making a cameo, with director Rawson Marshall Thurber’s calling Ed Sheeran ’s appearance “my favourite part of the movie”.
He added: “Ed, from the very first pitch, was who I wanted.”
