The Great British Bake Off came to a sticky end on Tuesday evening as George became the latest contestant to be sent home.
The seventh episode of the 2021 series saw the remaining six bakers tackle caramel week, and it certainly wasn't easy.
Bake Off Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith asked the group to make classic caramel tarts as well as 10 identical caramel biscuit bars in the technical challenge.
George, Lizzie, Crystelle, Giuseppe, Jürgen and Chigs all faced their own difficulties as they got to work in the famous tent.
However, George failed to impress Paul and Prue with his showstopper creation and despite it being a close call, host Matt Lucas announced that he would be heading home.

In his farewell letter, George said: "As sad as I am to be leaving the tent of dreams, I have made some memories that will be in my heart forever!
"I'm so grateful to have been part of something so special and also be lucky enough to leave this experience with life long friends.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey and a special thanks to my wife and kids who had to cope with weeks of frantic baking, meltdowns and a very messy kitchen!" he added.

He also said to the camera: "There is no bittersweet to it. Speaking to my family, they're just so proud that I've managed to even get in the tent."
Bake Off fans took to Twitter to discuss the outcome, with one person writing: "Gonna miss George - been a great personality and excellent baker #GBBO #bakeoff."
Another tweeted: "Absolutely gutted to see George go! #GBBO," while a third added: "Can’t believe George had to leave after that showstopper. #GBBO #bakeoff #George."

Elsewhere on Tuesday's episode, Jürgen was awarded the title of Star Baker for the third time and has now made it through to the quarter final stage of the competition.
Next week will see the five remaining contestants attempt to bring dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan bakes to the Tent in Free-from Week.
A teaser clip for the episode sees Paul telling one baker: "I expected better from you," as Lizzie admits the challenge is "organised chaos".
The Great British Bake Off continues Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
