There is a history making contestant on Great British Bake Off's new series with Freya Cox being the show's first ever vegan baker.
After the line-up for the new run was revealed earlier this month, excitement have been at fever pitch amongst Bake Off fans as they count down to its return to Channel 4.
Last year's show gave GBBO it's youngest ever winner after Peter Sawkins became Star Baker in the tent during a closely fought final in front of presenters Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding and judges Pru Leith and Paul Hollywood.

Peter took the stage at the recent Natonal Television Awards as Bake Off won Best Challenge Show once again and on Tuesday night, viewers will get a first look at the hopefuls hoping to follow in his footsteps.
And among them is psychology student Freya.
After her name was published on the list of contestants for the new series, the 19-year-old took to Instagram to enthuse: "Honestly can’t believe I am writing this, feel genuinely blessed to share my passion for vegan baking on such an incredible programme with such an amazing group of people."
Vegan Freya being on Bake Off was a hot topic when Pru Leith appeared on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain with host Susanna Reid quizzing the expert..
Pru told her: "It's very interesting. I'm actually rather in favour of some...I mean, I think that's some revolting vegan commercial products out there, but vegan baking, if it's done right and the ingredients are good is absolutely delicious.
