Bake Off fans can't get over Paul Hollywood's drastically different 'sprayed on hair'

Excited Bake Off fans can't get over Paul Hollywood's new haircut.

The brand new series of the Channel 4 baking competition kicked off on Tuesday night with new bakers, new cakes and a new location.

But viewers noticed something else that was very new - Paul's drastically different barnet.

They pointed out a major change on top of Paul's head as his famous silver locks looked a bit strange.

Paul's hair caused a stir on social media - with some asking whether he had sprayed it on out of a can.

Baffled Bake Off viewers took to Twitter to question what had happened to Paul's hair

One viewer asked: "Hold up, what's happened to Paul's hair?"

"Paul looks as though he’s sprayed his hair on this series," added another.

A third said: "Fact: Paul Hollywood’s hair is actually snow from a can."

"What tf has Paul done to his hair? It looks like he’s using too much filter," said a fourth.

Paul's hair actually wasn't noticeable when he appeared on screens for the first time this series.

The show began with an awkward opening skit, where Paul was ridiculed for not having a heart, which comes after his split from ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam, 24.

Bake Off viewers were left cringing during the opening Wizard of Oz sketch where Paul turned up in a Tin Man costume.

A stern-faced Paul confessed: "I don't have a heart."

Noel Fielding, who was dressed as Dorothy, replied: "That's not going to come as a big shock to people."

When they got back to reality, Sandi Toksvig added: "I don't think it was a dream. Paul still doesn't have a heart."
