Bake Off contestant tells Paul Hollywood to 'shut up' and fans are in hysterics

A Bake Off contestant left fans stunned - but mainly delighted - when he told judge Paul Hollywood to "shut up" this evening.

Henry wowed on Festival Week, even managing to earn himself star baker, but was very shocked when he earned himself a Hollywood handshake.

So shocked, in fact, that he told Paul to "shut up".

When Paul offered up his hand to the baker, Henry responded: "No, shut up!"

Paul looked shocked as they ended up shaking hands, while Prue Leith quipped: "I don't think you should say 'shut up' to a judge!"

But viewers found the moment utterly hilarious.

One tweeted: "Great - someone has actually said 'Shut up!' to #paulhollywood ! .......at last !! #gbbo."

While another commented: "I know Henry didn't say shut up to Paul in an insulting way, but the legend has said what we've all wanted to say #gbbo."

Paul was left startled by the comment (Channel 4)

A third remarked: "Henry telling Paul to shut up is an absolute highlight of the series. #GBBO."

"I stand corrected Henry, telling Paul to shut up is the best thing you’ve ever done! #GBBO," another joked.
