The Great British Bake Off has confirmed who will replace Sandi Toksvig as presenter for the new series.
Just as the hit Channel 4 show launches the latest Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer, show bosses have revealed that Little Britain favourite turned theatre star Matt Lucas will be on presenting duties for the next series, alongside existing host Noel Fielding.
"I'm chuffed to bits to be joining the most delicious show on television," Matt said in a statement.
"I can't wait to break bread with Noel, Prue and Paul and meet the brilliant bakers. And bearing in mind my love of cake, I've already ordered some much larger trousers in anticipation. See you in the tent!"
The news was also confirmed by Great British Bake Off themselves, who tweeted: ""On your marks, get set… say hello to the newest member of the Bake Off team - @RealMattLucas #GBBO."
The lineup for Celebrity Bake Off includes everyone from acting legend Richard Dreyfuss to Love Island star Ovie Soko.
Ovie was in action in episode 1 alongside Russell Howard, Jenny Eclair and Louis Theroux with all of the contestants challenged to make a giant biscuit, a classic bake, and a choux sculpture depicting their perfect day.
