The Great British Bake Off 2022 finalists have been confirmed following an intense semi-final on the much-loved Channel 4 show. The penultimate episode, which saw the remaining bakers tackle mini charlottes and a Swedish showstopper, saw four contestants whittled down to just three.
Bake Off's ninth episode, which was patisserie week themed, saw Abdul, Sandro, Syabira and Janusz go head-to-head in the famous tent to impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. Ultimately though, while one contestant was made Star Baker, another was sadly sent home, just missing out on a place in the final.
Unfortunately, it was Janusz, 34, that Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding sent home, meaning Abdul, Sandro and Syabira will now compete in the final next week. The last instalment will air on Tuesday, November 15 at 8pm when this year's winner will be crowned.

The final will air on Tuesday, November 15 at 8pm on Channel 4. The episode is on for one hour and 15 minutes, ending at 9.15pm when this year's winner will be been announced.
