Barry Ferguson has challenged Nedim Bajrami to justify Rangers' transfer outlay for him with a performance against Celtic.

"There is no doubt in my mind that Nedim has got a lot of qualities," Ferguson told Rangers TV. "He doesn't show it enough in my opinion.

"We've spoken about it and now he has got an opportunity today to show the reason why Rangers went and spent that money on him.

"Technically he is a really gifted player, I want to see the other side of that as well, the dirty side of the game when you have to really track back and help your team-mates and work hard for the team.
