Barry Ferguson has challenged Nedim Bajrami to justify Rangers' transfer outlay for him with a performance against Celtic.
The Ibrox interim boss conceded that the midfielder has not shown his qualities often enough in his debut season at Rangers.

However, Ferguson has put his faith in Bajrami by including the Albanian in his starting XI against Celtic this afternoon.
Bajrami has often been a substitute for Ferguson and called upon for cameo roles but is in from the start for the final derby tie of the season.

"There is no doubt in my mind that Nedim has got a lot of qualities," Ferguson told Rangers TV. "He doesn't show it enough in my opinion.
"We've spoken about it and now he has got an opportunity today to show the reason why Rangers went and spent that money on him.
"Technically he is a really gifted player, I want to see the other side of that as well, the dirty side of the game when you have to really track back and help your team-mates and work hard for the team.
"He is a player who has got real qualities, but he has just not shown it enough. What I said is to go and show it today."
