Baileys profiteroles are being sold at Asda in time for the festive season

With just under two and a half months to go until Christmas, Baileys profiteroles have gone on sale at Asda supermarkets and cost only £3.

Fans of the Irish cream tipple will be tempted by the boozy treat which features choux pastry with a Baileys-flavoured cream filling and salted caramel core.

Food blogger NewFoodsUK recently shared the seasonal dessert to Instagram, much to the excitement of sweet-toothed shoppers.

The post revealed a box of the profiteroles at an Asda supermarket and has racked up nearly 2,000 likes and plenty of comments from fans wanting to snap them up.

One tagged a friend and wrote: "how did we miss these?"

Another added: "wowwwww."

Someone else raved: "Oh hello Baileys."

While another said: "What dreams are made of!"

The Baileys Profiteroles come in a box of 12, so there's plenty to go round if you're buying them for a celebration.

And at just £3 a pop, they won't break the bank either.

Those who are keen to get their hands on a box can find out their local Asda by using its store finder here. It's best to be quick, though, as they're bound to fly off the shelves as the festive season gets closer.

Meanwhile, M&S has launched a brand new Harry Potter range and it includes chocolate frogs and edible wands.

And Costa Coffee has unveiled its limited-edition festive menu - which includes an After-Eight Muffin.
