JAIPUR: Rajasthan High Court has granted bail to 11 accused, including Amrit Lal and Bhajan Lal, arrested in connection with the REET paper leak case. The court has also given one-month interim anticipatory bail to another accused Mancheti due to pregnancy.
A single bench of Justice C K Songra gave this order on the regular bail application of accused Amrit Lal, Bhajan Lal, Bharti Meena, Udharam, Sohni, Pradeep Parashar, Savita Chaudhary, Bablu Meena, Bhajan Lal Vishnoi, Narendra Vishnoi, and Nitish Kumar and anticipatory bail petition of Mancheti. The court has deferred the hearing on the bail plea of another accused Ramkripal Meena.
SC refuses to give interim relief to B.Ed candidates in REET: The SC has refused to grant interim relief to BEd candidates in REET level-I recruitment. The court, while adjourning the case after six weeks, has kept the appointments to of REET level-I teacher recruitment-2021 subjected to the decision of the SLP.
Stay on physical test of constable recruitment in three districts lifted: The high court has lifted the stay on conducting physical proficiency test of candidates in Ajmer GRP, Rajsamand, and Bundi districts of Constable Recruitment-2020 allowing the petitioners to appear for the proficiency test. The stay was given on March 23 last year over the complaint of an inadequate number of candidates were selected for physical tests. tnn
