A man has been granted conditional bail after allegedly indecently assaulting an eight-year-old girl while she played in a southwest Sydney driveway.
Terry Frederick Smith, 64, of Casula, appeared in Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday charged with intentionally sexually touching a child under 10 years of age.
Smith was granted bail on the condition he report to police three times a week, and not go near or contact any proposed witnesses.
He was also ordered not to be in the company or approach any child under the age of 16.
In January, police received reports an eight-year-old girl had been indecently assaulted by a man outside an apartment complex.
The case was then referred to detectives at the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad.
The matter will return to Liverpool Local Court on February 16.
