Manama condemned on Tuesday Iranian statements on Bahrain's recent judicial rulings.
Bahrain's Foreign Ministry said that Tehran’s remarks reflect the aggressive nature of the regime in Iran, as well as its approach that disrespects the principles of international relations and good neighborliness.
"These statements also mirror the Iranian policy that interferes in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and other Arab states in order to promote chaos, tension and violence in the region", said the ministry, according to Bahrain News Agency.
It noted that such statements aim to conceal the Iranian people’s suffering, which is a result of the regime’s practices in Iran and its support for terrorism in the region.
Such behavior goes against the interests of the Iranian people, who live in poverty, repression and violence caused by the regime, said the ministry.
It stressed that the regime's threat to regional and international security and stability demands active action and a firm response by the international community in order to force it to respect international laws and charters, the sovereignty and independence of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.
