- Bahrain International Airport has begun gradually resuming flights after its airspace was closed for weeks due to the Middle Eastern conflict.
- The airport announced the resumption on Wednesday, 8 April, following the government's decision to reopen its airspace.
- Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for updates and only travel to the airport with a confirmed flight.
- Gulf Air, Bahrain's flag carrier, will gradually restart its schedule, having previously operated via King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and will continue some Dammam services for now.
- The resumption comes a day after the United States and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire, following weeks of air strikes in the region, which had caused travel disruption and casualties.
