Bahlul Mustafazada can become a Celtic hero if he makes switch to Glasgow

Bahlul Mustafazada has been backed to be a major success at Celtic if the Hoops snap him up this summer.

The Azerbaijan youngster has spoken about his hopes of signing for the club with the Hoops set to invite him for a trial in the summer.

And the Gabala defender has been praised by club mate Rauf Aliyev who believes he can go on to one of the top European leagues.

The 22-year-old is out of contract in the summer and 46-times capped Aliyev is a big fan after he broke through and insists he would be a top player for Neil Lennon's side in the Scottish Premiership.

"He only broke into the team really this season, but he's earned his chance and gone from strength to strength and he's been an important player for Gabala.

"I read about the interest about him from Celtic and I believe this would be a very good move for him.

"He's young and still learning, but he is a top prospect for Azerbaijan.
