BAFTA TV Awards 2019: Kirsty-Leigh Porter bravely hits red carpet after tragic stillbirth

Kirsty-Leigh Porter looked sensational as she bravely hit the red carpet months after her daughter was stillborn.

The Hollyoaks star revealed in January that her little girl, Penny-Leigh Barber, had tragically been born sleeping in December.

Tonight, she put on a brave face as she stepped out on the red carpet at the BAFTA TV Awards 2019.

The 30-year-old actress, who plays Leela Lomax in the Channel 4 soap, looked gorgeous in a thigh-skimming white gown with a gold design as she arrived at the bash at London's Royal Festival Hall.

She slicked her blonde hair back and accessorised with gold hoops as she smiled for the cameras.

Kirsty posed up with her co-star Stephanie Davis, who looked like a Disney princess in her gorgeous flowing gown.

Back in January, Kirsty took to Instagram to reveal her heartbreak.

The star posted a picture of the tiny handprints and footprints of her baby, along with a hospital bracelet and an elephant-shaped card bearing her name and details.

She said: "Our beautiful baby girl, Penny-Leigh Barber was born sleeping on the 21st of December 2018 at 6.49am, 29 weeks & 3 days young.

"My heart has never felt pain like it. Sleep sweetly our angel. We will always love you. Love your Mummy & Daddy
