On Sunday night, while most of the nation will be at home squabbling over the remote contol, the great and good of the UK television industry will be donning their glad rags in the hope of landing a Bafta award.

You can catch-up on whose been nominated for what – and what viewers thought of their chances – over here. But there's also an opportunity for you to vote for your favourite programme via Bafta's YouTube audience award. There's a shortlist of six programmes to choose from: Britain's Got Talent, E4 teen comedy The Inbetweeners, ITV drama Unforgiven, The One Show, The X Factor and Glee, and you have until 5pm today to cast your vote.

I should disclose at this point that I was part of the panel that came up with the shortlist – a challenging exercise, given the incredible breadth of TV on offer over the last calender year. The resulting list of course contains the big shiny-floor shows that draw massive audiences, but also includes top-notch drama and comedy, a magazine show and this year's biggest US import.

So which show should win? Cast your vote online, and find out on Sunday night.
