Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left baffled by co-host Claudia Winkleman 's outfit during Sunday night’s results show.
Wearing a sparkly embellished cardigan that featured red detailing and statement buttons, Claudia, 49, teamed it with a pair of knee-length black shorts and nude heels, and her laidback look divided fans.
While Claudia, who has been co-hosting the show with Tess Daly since 2014, usually rocks a more glamorous outfit for Saturday’s live shows, she’s been known to wear a more relaxed style on Sundays.
However, viewers were distracted by her shorts and cardigan combo, with some suggesting she looked like she was heading to the gym.
“Did Claudia get dressed in the dark?” one asked, as another joked: “Claudia just rocked up from the gym ha ha.”
“Is Claudia Winkleman going out for a run after the show?” one fan asked, while one viewer said Claudia looked like she was attending a Zoom meeting with her casual black shorts.
“Wtaf is this lady wearing? She lose track of time and they force her out of her dressing room before she could finish getting dressed or...?” one fan fired.
“Claudia has come on her bike," joked another, as another added: “Please. What is Claudia wearing?”
One viewer suggested the mother-of-three had “rocked up” to the results show “in a pair of bike shorts and her fancy Christmas PJs”.
However, some were impressed with Claudia’s stylish look, which was very different from the black Zara dress she wore on Saturday’s show as the celebrity couples performed during movie week.
“I will be needing Claudia's cardigan immediately please," one viewer tweeted.
“Claudia is wearing smart shorts,” another fan explained. “Weren't they called city shorts BITD (back in the day)? I owned many pairs. Time to bring them back then,” they said.
Claudia has been a hit with Strictly viewers since her days hosting the hugely popular BBC Two spin-off show It Takes Two.
She landed the co-hosting gig full-time alongside Tess back in 2014, after Sir Bruce Forsyth announced he was stepping down from the show.
But she recently confessed she almost quit the hit BBC One show, as she was struggling with her eldest son leaving for university.
Claudia, who shares three children with husband Kris Thykier, told The Mirror she phoned Strictly boss Sarah James “quite dramatically” and announced she would be leaving if the first show of the series was on the same day her son was heading to uni.
“I phoned the boss of Strictly, quite dramatically and said through tears, ‘Sarah, I love you and I never want to leave, but if the first show is September 13th, I'm out’,” she recalled.
Luckily for Claudia, and Strictly viewers, the first show was 18 September, meaning she was able to return to the much-loved dancing competition.
