Baffled SNT fans plead for lockdown to end as Ant and Dec 'play hide and seek' on live TV

Baffled Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left pleading for lockdown to end as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly played a bizarre game of hide and seek on live TV.

Joined by Stephen Mulhern, Ant vs Dec continued as they played a game of fencing - but not the kind with swords.

Instead, Ant and Dec took it in turns to hide behind fences, with the other turning around in a bid to catch them out.

And fans were left mightily confused and took to Twitter to comment.

One tweeted: "Once upon a time I used to be out drinking and dancing until dawn. Tonight I’m watching 1 man dressed as a hedge and 2 men play hide and seek behind garden fences on tele @antanddec#saturdaynighttakeaway #antanddec."

"Do we really have hide and seek with fences on Saturday night prime time TV? Lockdown needs to end now #SaturdayNightTakeaway," another demanded.

One wrote: "If watching two grown men, playing hide and seek with 6 fence panels isn't prime time TV then I don't know what is. #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

A fan tweeted: "Sitting watching two people play hide and seek on a Saturday night... #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

Another sighed: "I'm seriously watching grown men play hide and seek lmao #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

One fumed: "This gets more juvenile each week .. ffs... hide and seek #SaturdayNightTakeaway."
