A perplexed plane passenger has asked for people's help to identify a mystery celebrity on her flight. Influencer Paige Craig, from Orlando Florida, was travelling to Los Angeles, California, when she noticed everyone taking pictures with one particular passenger.
Unsure what all the commotion was about, she took her own sneaky shots of the celeb - and has now gone viral after asking TikTok users for their help identifying the man - but she never expected to receive a personal response from him helping to clear up her confusion.
In her video, she said: "Can someone tell me who this man is because people keep taking pics with him and I'm too scared to ask who he is".
Providing her viewers with a clue, she added: "Other information - he speaks Spanish and is a very nice man".
She shows the celeb's side profile when sneakily panning the camera around to the aisle next to her own.
Commenting on the clip, one user said: "Oh I thought it was David Tennant."
Another user joked: "OMG it's Jason Bourne."
Sharing the right answer, a third user added: "He's Eugenio Derbez, one of our pride and joy in our Latin community. By the way, he’s bilingual dear, so not only does he speaks Spanish, he's fluent in it."
Eugenio Derbez is a Mexican actor and comedian who has appeared in Overboard, CODA, The Book of Life, The Angry Birds Movie 2, and The Secret Life of Pets.
The 61-year-old was born and raised in Mexico City but now lives in Los Angeles and is married to actress, singer and dancer Alessandra Rosaldo.
"OMG imagine sitting next to him," said one user.
Another person added: "He's one of the most famous Mexican actors in comedy."
"Omg I would have loved a pic with him... I grew up watching his shows," one more said.
In a shock response, Eugenio Derbez replied to Paige's TikTok with his own video, introducing himself to the curious passenger.
In his clip, he said: "Hi Paige, let me introduce myself. My name is Eugenio Derbez and I'm basically an actor and director."
He then references some of the movies he has been in, saying sometimes he works in valet, is a music teacher, but also "knows How to Be a Latin Lover."
"Now, can someone tell me who this girl is? Because people keep following her, she has more than one million followers on TikTok," he added.
Paige is married to motorcycle rider Christian Craig, and shares a glimpse into her family life on her YouTube channel The Craig Family.
