The Gaon Download chart ranks the bestselling individual songs in South Korea every week, and this time around, all but a handful of spaces inside the top 10, the highest tier, are filled by brand new releases from some of the most exciting names in the country’s music industry.

Woodz debuts his new single “Waiting” in first place, proving that fans couldn’t wait to get their hands on new music from the soloist. The track fronts his new album Only Lovers Left, which launches at No. 4 on the corresponding Gaon Albums chart.

Chan-won Lee debuts not one, but two songs on the Gaon Download chart this week, highlighting the fact that since breaking into the mainstream’s consciousness on the TV show Mr. Trot, he has become a real star. Up first from his pair of new winners is “Cheer Up,” which arrives at No. 2. Toward the bottom of the top 10 is “Blooming Like a Flower,” which starts off at No. 9.

The top three songs on this week’s Gaon Download chart are all brand new, as Aespa’s “Savage” kicks off it’s time on the ranking at No. 3. The track serves as the lead single and title tune from the new girl group’s first EP, which itself begins its time on the Gaon Albums ranking ahead of every other title.

Down a single peg to No. 4 is “My Universe” by the powerful pairing of Coldplay and BTS.

Choi Young-jae, known professionally as simply Youngjae, debuts his single “Vibin” at No. 5 on the sales chart. The Got7 vocalist earns what appears to be his biggest solo hit yet with the track that powers his first EP on his own, Colors from Ars. That set launches at No. 6 on the Gaon Albums ranking.

Baekhyun’s “Bambi” is back inside the top 10 on the Gaon Download chart after becoming a huge hit earlier this year. The tune was featured on the Exo and SuperM member’s latest solo EP of the same name, which went right to No. 1 on its respective tally this past spring.

Sandeul’s "The Image of You (Remains in My Memory)," taken from the extremely popular TV show Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’s soundtrack, enters the race at No. 7.

The last three songs that round out the rest of the top 10 on the latest edition of the Gaon Download chart all come from musicians who have achieved fame through reality TV programs. Young-woong Lim’s “Did You Forget” powers to No. 8 while Hynn’s “I Wish” begins its time on the ranking at No. 10. In between those two quick sales wins is one of Chan-won Lee’s two current smashes.
