Cops have launched an investigation after a "badly decomposed" body was found in derelict pub in East London.
Officers were called to a pub on Romford Road in Forest Gate just after 3pm on Friday afternoon.
They found a "badly decomposed" body at the premises- which is just metres from Forest Gate Station police station.
It was initially discovered by workmen carrying out construction work on the site.

A Met spokesman said the pub had been derelict for many years, The Sun reports.
Further tests are planned to uncover more details about the mystery body.
Scaffolding currently covers the outside of the building.
Pictures taken at the scene show dozens of forensic officers searching for evidence and entering the pub.
A tent has also been erected outside the premises for forensics to operate undisturbed.

Cops have cordoned off the road outside the building and officers are still working at the property.
Since 2016, the council have rejected three planning applications. The last two included proposals to keep the pub open while using the upstairs space as flats.
The pub was originally named The Freemasons Arms.
It was called Simpsons between the 1980s and the early 2000s.
It then changed again to La Luna nightclub before being shut down.
