Bad weather news from Met Office ahead of St Pauls Carnival in Bristol

St Pauls Carnival is always bursting with colour and fun - but that looks unlikely to be reflected in the weather.

Around 100,000 people are expected to attend the event from 12pm today (July 6) until 10pm, but they are set to do so under gloomy Bristol skies.

According to the Met Office, the morning is forecast to be be sunny, but clouds are expected to hover from 11am, before the skies become grey and overcast from 2pm until evening.

The chance of rain is estimated at 50 per cent from 6pm to 7pm, and 40 per cent from 7pm to 8pm.
