Bad Moms' Moms confirmed with Christine Baranski, Susan Sarandon

It is s time for a third instalment of the Bad Moms franchise.

According to The Wrap, studio STX confirmed that Bad Moms will be back in sequel Bad Moms' Moms.

The film will see the return of Cheryl Hines, Susan Sarandon, and Christine Baranski in the roles of the original Bad Moms' own mothers.

The actresses debuted as the characters in the previous film A Bad Moms Christmas.

Stars of the previous film Kristen Bell as Kiki, Mila Kunis as Amy, and Kathryn Hahn as Carla will, of course, also be back.

Both of the preceding entries in the series were huge box office hits for the studio, so it's no surprise they want to repeat the same success.

Bad Moms debuted in 2016 and grossed $183 million worldwide, while the follow-up A Bad Moms Christmas made a $130 million worldwide, with both reportedly having a budget of less than $30 million.

It is unknown if any further characters will be returning.

The first film received a mixed to positive reception, but the follow-up was less warmly received by critics.

Here's hoping they bring the magic back for the third outing!

Rumours had previously suggested a Bad Dads film, but looks like some older ladies needed some time to shine - and rightly so!

The Bad Dads film had been slated for a release in 2017 but this never materialised.

Bad Moms' Moms does not currently have a UK release date.
