Ainsley Maitland-Niles has become the latest player linked with an Arsenal exit.
Despite the loan arrivals of Mat Ryan and Martin Odegaard as well as the permanent signing of Omar Rekik this month, the Gunners' main January transfer window priorities has been to trim down the numbers in Mikel Arteta's first-team squad.
Sead Kolasinac and William Saliba joined Schalke and Nice respectively on loan at the beginning of the month, while Matt Macey sealed a move to Scottish side Hibernian.
Sokratis and Mesut Ozil have since been added to Arsenal's list of January departures with both players agreeing to a contract termination in order to join Olympiacos and Fenerbahce respectively.
But is Maitland-Niles next to leave?
Well, according to The Athletic, relegation-threatened West Brom pushing hard to sign the 23-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season, although they have competition.
The report also states that a current top-four team in the Premier League are also interested, but will need to get other business done before being in a position to seal a deal.
Maitland-Niles has not been a regular under Arteta this season, with his last appearance coming against Crystal Palace where he struggled at left-back in a goalless draw. And as pointed out by former Arsenal defender Alex Scott, he looked off the pace in a below-par performance.
"We talk about Tierney, how important he is, what he brings to the team, his runs going forward, his runs on the ball and actually making others play around him," Scott said on Sky Sports. "That was totally missed.
"Maitland-Niles was totally off the pace today, you could see that the confidence wasn’t there, but Tierney was missed today."
As expected, talk of Maitland-Niles leaving has garnered a big response from Arsenal fans on social media.

Regarding potential exits before Monday's deadline, Arteta has refused to rule anything out.
"When there are still days left in the market there is still the possibility for things to happen," the Arsenal boss said in his pre-Man United press conference.
"We are in close contact with all the things that can happen and we will see."
