Bad Bunny to headline Super Bowl halftime show in 2026

Bad Bunny is the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show headline performer, per social media posts from the singer, the NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation on Sunday night.

What he's saying: "What I'm feeling goes beyond myself. It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown," the 31-year-old Puerto Rican singer said in a media statement.

  • "This is for my people, my culture and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el Halftime Show Del Super Bowl," he added.

The big picture: Speculation had been building before the announcement that Taylor Swift might perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

  • NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a "Today Show" interview earlier this month that "maybe" the singer who recently got engaged to the Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce could headline the show.
