Bad Boy Chiller Crew 'cut off' at Leeds Festival midway through set as fuming crowd start booing

Fans of Bradford rappers Bad Boy Chiller Crew were left disappointed as the group's performance at Leeds Festival was cut suddenly short.

The local three-piece were performing their unique brand of Yorkshire-infused bassline rap on the Main Stage West when it was cut off. The group had brought out family members and friends for their homecoming show and were downing drinks in between songs before the abrupt ending.

Fans booed as the group were taken off stage.

Members of the crowd were chanting for the MC group to come back on but were left disappointed to see the performance cut short. People were leaving the stage complaining about an alleged altercation on stage.

One person who was stood in the middle of the crowd said: “We were pumped and then all of a sudden it cut off and it looked like they were having a fight on stage.”

The group is made up of Gareth "GK" Kelly, Kane Welsh and Sam "Clive" Robinson and became popular through their hilarious online videos and pranks as well as their infectious dance music.

Despite the sudden ending their set burst the crowd into life ahead of tonight's headliners The 1975.
