'Back Where We Belong' - The inside story of how Bielsa led Leeds United to the Premier League

It's safe to say no-one will ever forget the year 2020.

While the past 10 months have brought about some of the greatest hardship inflicted on the country for generations, it will also go down as the year Leeds United finally returned to the Promised Land of the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa and his Leeds squad were able to bring a smile to fans' faces when they needed it most when they were finally able to conclude the 2019-20 campaign this summer, blowing away their competitors to win the Championship by ten points and lift their first piece of silverware since 1992.

That sparked scenes of celebration that will now rank as some of the most iconic scenes in the club's 101-year history and LeedsLive put together the following digital supplement to celebrate the club's incredible achievement.

We've captured the key moments in the story of Bielsa at Leeds, from his arrival through to Spygate, the Derby County play-offs heartbreak and the threat the coronavirus pandemic had on their season before rounding it all off with a look at how Bielsa got Leeds back to where they belong.

Enjoy the journey by flicking through below and relive one of Leeds' finest hours, told through a series of brilliant pictures and through the words of our Leeds United experts Joe Mewis and Beren Cross.

So if you thought you'd already had too much in the way of promotion fever, think again as we bring you the season in all its glory and explain how this magical moment occurred.
