Back-to-back 36-point wins for Bulls as they soar past Pelicans

Through two games in the preseason, the Chicago Bulls are off to a roaring start as they dominated the New Orleans Pelicans, 121-85.

Zach LaVine led the way for the Bulls with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting. Lonzo Ball played well against his former team, finishing with 19 points 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 from 3-point range.

The outpour of scoring on the offensive end for the Bulls has been impressive but what has stood out the most during the first two preseason games is their defense. Chicago is giving up 90 points per game and forcing 19 turnovers per game through two preseason games.

The offense will be there for this Bulls team with the amount of talent on the roster but if this kind of defensive effort remains throughout the regular season, we’re looking at a potential contender in the Eastern Conference.
