Former Nottingham Forest midfielder David Prutton reckons his old side will get back to winning ways tonight.
Sabri Lamouchi's promotion-chasing Reds head to Cardiff City (7.45pm) for another Championship battle.
Forest fell six points behind Leeds United in second place following their goalless draw with Queens Park Rangers at the weekend, with Marcelo Bielsa's side eeking out a 1-0 win at home to Reding.
They aren't back in action until tomorrow night, when they travel to Middlesbrough.
So Forest can put the pressure back on Leeds this evening and, crucially, end the three-match winless run that started after the 2-0 defeat of the Elland Road outfit earlier this month.
And Prutton is backing them to do just that, with Cardiff reeling from a first reverse in the League since New Year's Day after the loss to Stoke City last time out.
"The Bluebirds' hopes of a late dash for the play-offs took something of a blow when they were beaten by Stoke on Saturday, but it was a rare dip for a side who've greatly improved since Neil Harris took over last year," Prutton wrote in his regular Sky Sports column.
"They come up against a Forest side who are itching for three points.
"They've not won since beating Leeds a few weeks ago, but during that time they've held leaders West Brom and I feel they could get back on track here."
