
People wait to board the train at JR Sukagawa Station in Fukushima Prefecture on Tuesday as operations resumed on the section between Asakanagamori and Yabuki stations on the JR Tohoku Line. The rail section in the prefecture had become unusable after roadbeds were washed away by heavy rain due to Typhoon No. 19, but service was restored after a 17-day-hiatus.
