May 06--A teary-eyed Chris Soules, who became engaged to a Chicago fertility nurse earlier this year on "The Bachelor," was eliminated on Tuesday night's episode of "Dancing with the Stars."
His fianc饠Whitney Bischoff, 29, was not in the audience when he was eliminated, though Soules denied tabloid rumors the couple is on the rocks. Soules, 33, told People magazine Bischoff was in Chicago honoring the 10th anniversary of her mother's death. He also told Us Weekly magazine Bischoff was "definitely bummed" she missed his final dance.
In Monday's episode, Soules danced a contemporary routine to "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith with partner Witney Carson and then he danced a trio to "Outside" by Calvin Harris with Ellie Goulding.
After Soules was eliminated, Bischoff tweeted: "I love you @souleschris! You impressed me each and every week with all you accomplished! You make me so proud!"
Soules, who was known as "Prince Farming" on "The Bachelor," told People he will return home to Arlington, Iowa, and Bischoff will eventually move there.
Soules was a fan favorite on "Dancing with the Stars." Tuesday night's episode was a double elimination that also booted "Shark Tank" star Robert Herjavec and his partner Kym Johnson for having low scores. The ABC show, in its 20th season, is scheduled to award its mirror ball trophy to the winning dance team May 19.
