Matt Donald asked Sydney to go on a double date upon his late arrival in Paradise, but he didn’t feel confident enough to go for a kiss on the first date. He explained in a confessional that his mom wouldn’t be happy to see him kissing a woman so soon, but the rest of the cast urged him to go for it.
After an excruciating wait, Matt Donald finally went in for a kiss after receiving explicit permission to, and the show spliced in series of inspiring images. It was epic.
Matt Donald later went on a date with new arrival Bri – and had no problems kissing on the first date.
