'Baby steps' - Tottenham fans react to Jose Mourinho's latest Dele Alli decision

Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting to Jose Mourinho’s latest starting line-up in their Europa League play-off match against Maccabi Haifa.

There’s one player, who has been named on the bench, that has caught the eye of numerous Spurs supporters - and that’s Dele Alli.

Alli hasn’t started for Spurs in the Premier League since the opening weekend defeat to Everton, and has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the England midfielder has been named in the squad for tonight’s visit of the Israeli side, as Spurs look to make the Europa League group stage.

It’s a strong side named by Mourinho - with Joe Hart starting in goal, behind a defence consisting of Matt Doherty, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld and Ben Davies.

Then, in midfield, it’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Harry Winks and Giovani Lo Celso, with Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn and Harry Kane in attack.

The return to the bench for Alli, though, caught the supporters’ eye the most, after the 24-year-old was left out of Spurs’ 18-man squad against Newcastle United at the weekend.
