Which? shared the news on their Facebook account on Wednesday afternoon, writing: "Cosatto has issued a safety alert for the buckle on its All in All+ and All in All Rotate car seats, due to potentially defective components used in the manufacture of the affected buckles.
"If you have purchased one of the affected models you should stop using the car seat and contact Cosatto to order a free replacement buckle."
The post has since attracted over 50 comments, and been shared almost 350 times by concerned consumers.
One wrote: "Had to have mine serviced due to the strap fraying, less than a year old. They sent back the seat saying its foxed and fine. The strap is still the same and frayed where it catches underneath."
A second unsatisfied shopper commented: "First time I’ve used Cosatto, it’s the last as well. Already ordered a new seat elsewhere."
"I’d never buy a car seat from this company," a third said.
"I wish they'd recall the normal ones cos I've already said to them the harness doesn't tighten well but they say it does," another concerned customer shared.
One happy customer defended the company, writing: "Not like Cosatto, they're usually excellent. Only ever bought their very sturdy seats."
However, other users were quick to challenge their opinion.
One replied: "One of the worst seats you can buy. Not tested well at all!"
Another agreed: "They’re not tested to high standards at all. I’d never trust their car seats with my child’s life."
