Infant Prince William will make his debut in The Crown season 4.
Netflix royal drama The Crown is currently filming its fourth season in Spain and the new royal addition has been seen on set.
As revealed by ET Canada , actress Emma Corrin has been spotted on set dressed as Princess Diana on her 1983 tour of Australia with husband Prince Charles, where she famously changed royal protocol by taking the infant Prince William with her.
An infant actor has been seen on set portraying the young Prince William.
Corrin will make her debut as Lady Diana Spencer opposite 2019 British Independent Film Award winner Josh O'Connor as Prince Charles, Prince of Wales.
The fourth season will chart the pair's courtship, engagement and marriage as they have their "fairytale wedding" in 1981 before beginning to struggle as Charles continues his romance with soulmate and former lover Camilla Parker Bowles (Emerald Fennell), despite her marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles (Andrew Buchan).
Elsewhere in the next season, Gillian Anderson makes her debut as controversial prime minister Margaret Thatcher.
Other storylines expected in the new season include the assassination of Lord Louis Mountbatten, the marriage of Princess Anne to Captain Mark Phillips, and the Falklands War.
It will be the second and last season to feature Olivia Colman as The Queen, but perhaps she will return for flashbacks scenes like her predecessor Claire Foy, who will appear in the new episodes next year for a scene looking into the Queen's earlier years.
The Crown season 4 is released on Netflix in late 2020.
