Baby names with highest earning potential in each industry revealed

A new study has revealed the baby names with the biggest earning potential in some of the highest-paid industries.

Researchers at online language learning app Preply catalogued thousands of names on LinkedIn to find out which names made the most money.

People called Jake and Catherine were discovered to be the biggest earners in the highest-paid industry - political organisations - with an average income of £81,932.

In the second most lucrative industry, sport, the names Joe and Alexandra were associated with the most success - with an average salary of £55,000.

Elsewhere, names like Charlie and Sophie, and Jamie and Katie, were found to be big earners in fields such as international affairs and veterinary medicine.

The research also reveals which names are most likely to find success in every individual industry, even those that do not tend to pay as well.

Those called Freddie and Sophie were found to have the highest salaries in the music industry, while Callums and Alexandras may make the most in media production, and the names Luke and Isabel are associated with the biggest success in education.

Overall, when it comes to boys' names, Joe, Jake, and Charlie are associated with success in a number of different fields, while Alexandra, Catherine, and Sophie were found to be the girls' names that earn the highest salaries in various fields.
