So are any of these names familiar to you?

The Guardian teamed up with the ONS and together they discovered some drastic changes in baby names has taken place between 1996 and 2017 in England and Wales, with just 25 babies being called Craig in 2017.

Back in 1996, there were 705 Craigs born - that's a 96.5% decrease.

According to academics who've been looking into naming trends, the reason the above names are rapidly declining in popularity is because parents are opting for 'virtue in rarity' – more unusual names with different spellings.
