Choosing what name to give your baby is a struggle for many new parents, as there are so many out there to choose from. There are plenty of factors to consider, like whether the moniker will stand the test of time, or if they'll be teased for it in the future - not to mention agreeing on a suitable name in the first place.

So, to help anyone who is expecting a baby with picking out the perfect name, an expert has revealed a list of the 50 'best' titles that parents can choose from this year. Some of these are classic choices, whereas others are more modern and based on things like sport, pop culture and video games.

The Mirror reports that Sophie Kihm, baby name expert and Editor-in-Chief at Nameberry, has shared some of the name choices that should be on any parents' radar this year. They've been analysed from Nameberry's popularity charts, celebrity and pop culture trends and their own expert analysis.

According to Sophie, you should consider adding these to your list if you're expecting a little one in 2023. This year, experts predict unisex names will be big, as well as more traditional, old-fashioned names and ones stemming from Greek mythology.
